Green and Purple Nails

  1. Paint two coats of a light green polish, such as Essie Navigate Her, over each nail.
  2. After allowing the base color to dry, paint a diagonal stripe of lavender polish (I used Essie Lilacism) across the tip of each nail.

  10. Fill in the triangles using a white nail art pen.
  11. Drop a spot of clear polish or glue between these two triangles.
  12. Place a small, dark pink rhinestone on top of the glue.

Black Rainbow Nails

There are two designs shown in this picture. Here are the steps to the first design:

  1. Paint all nails with two coats of black polish, like Essie Licorice.
  2. Allow nails to dry.
  3. Paint a thick coat of rainbow sparkles, such as OPI Rainbow Connection, over each nail.
  4. Add a clear top coat.
These are the steps for the second design:

  1. Select three bright polishes and two metallic polishes. (I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, OPI Dim Sum Plum, OPI Purple With A Purpose, OPI Designer De Better, and OPI Bling Dynasty)
  2. Start with one color, painting a thin layer over a portion of each nail.
  3. Add a second coat to each patch of polish.
  4. Repeat this process with each of your five colors until your entire nail is painted.
  5. Allow the polish to dry.
  6. Paint a very thin layer of OPI Black Shatter over each nail (Sally Hansen Crackle or Sephora Blasted will also work).
  7. When the shatter dries, you will have a rainbow leopard print design on your nails.
  8. Finish with two coats of clear polish.

Bronze Tipped Nails

  1. Paint your thumb, ring and pinky fingers with two coats of a brown polish, such as Essie Armed & Ready.
  2. Paint two coats of a hot pink polish on your pointer and middle fingers, such as Essie Super Bossa Nova.
  3. After allowing nails to dry fully, paint on a bronze polish from the middle of each nail to the tip, making the edges uneven. (I used Sephora by OPI Chestnuts About You).
  4. Add a top coat and you're done!

Blue Ombre Nails

  1. Start with two coats of a neutral polish, such as Essie Topless and Barefoot.
  2. Allow the base color to dry completely.
  3. Select three different shades of blue polish. (I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, China Glaze Frostbite, and Chanel Blue Satin)
  4. Using the lightest shade of blue first, paint upward from about 2/3 up the length of your nail to the tip. Try to make the bottom as uneven as possible.
  5. Allow the first coat of blue to dry.
  6. Using the next to darkest shade of blue, begin painting fractionally higher than the first coat and paint to the tip of your nail.
  7. Using the darkest shade of blue, paint a thin coat over the tip of your nail.
  8. After drying, add a thin coat of clear polish for shine.
