Splatter Nails
- Paint two coats of white polish on all nails.
- Place drops of red, pink, and purple polish over the white one nail at a time.
- Using the brush end of a paintbrush, smear the three polishes together.
- After allowing the polish to dry, use the end of a paint brush to create pink, purple and red polka dots on each nail (I used Essie Silken Cord, OPI Sparrow Me The Drama, and OPI Purple With A Purpose).
- Using a black nail pen, draw and heart shape on your pointer fingers.
- Fill the black heart with silver polish, such as Essie Loophole.
- Place a pink rhinestone in the center of the heart, using clear polish to make it stick.
- Finish with a thin coat of clear polish.

- Paint two coats of pink polish on your pinky fingers.
- Now select a neutral skin-toned polish (I used Skull & Glossbones).
- Paint the neutral polish on your thumbs and ring fingers.
- Using a black nail art pen, create small "U", "V", and "O" shapes on your thumbs and ring fingers.
- In the middle of the black shapes, place a drop of the green, brown, and pink polish.
- After allowing your nails to dry, finish with a thin coat of clear polish.
Valentine's Polka Dot Nails
- Paint two coats of pink polish, such as OPI Sparrow Me The Drama, on every nail except your pointer finger.
- Paint two coats of Essie Loophole on your pointer finger.
- Using the end of a paintbrush, create various sized purple, pink, and red glitter polka dots on every nail but your thumb. (I used OPI DS Temptation, OPI Excuse Moi!, and OPI Meep-Meep-Meep)
- Using the paintbrush, create a large red polka dot in the corner of your thumb.
- Still using the paintbrush, surround the red dot with five purple polka dots.
- Make three lines, from the flower to each corner of your nail, of alternating silver and pink polka dots.
- Finish the creation with a thick coat of clear polish.
Green and Purple Nails
- Paint two coats of a light green polish, such as Essie Navigate Her, over each nail.
- After allowing the base color to dry, paint a diagonal stripe of lavender polish (I used Essie Lilacism) across the tip of each nail.
- Using a black nail pen, draw a black line under the purple stripe.
- Again using the nail pen, add small black polka dots over the purple polish.
- Dip the end of a paintbrush into silver polish, such as Essie Loophole.
- Create polka dots over the purple polish using the paintbrush.
- Finish with a thin coat of clear polish.
Girly Pink Nails

- Dip the end of a paintbrush, toothpick, pen, or any other small round object into white polish.
- Using the round object, create evenly spaced polka dots on your ring finger.
- Using a black nail pen, such as Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen, create two connecting horizontal triangles in the middle of your thumb.
- Fill in the triangles using a white nail art pen.
- Drop a spot of clear polish or glue between these two triangles.
- Place a small, dark pink rhinestone on top of the glue.
- Finish your design with a thick coat of clear polish.
Black Rainbow Nails
There are two designs shown in this picture. Here are the steps to the first design:
- Paint all nails with two coats of black polish, like Essie Licorice.
- Allow nails to dry.
- Paint a thick coat of rainbow sparkles, such as OPI Rainbow Connection, over each nail.
- Add a clear top coat.
- Select three bright polishes and two metallic polishes. (I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, OPI Dim Sum Plum, OPI Purple With A Purpose, OPI Designer De Better, and OPI Bling Dynasty)
- Start with one color, painting a thin layer over a portion of each nail.
- Add a second coat to each patch of polish.
- Repeat this process with each of your five colors until your entire nail is painted.
- Allow the polish to dry.
- Paint a very thin layer of OPI Black Shatter over each nail (Sally Hansen Crackle or Sephora Blasted will also work).
- When the shatter dries, you will have a rainbow leopard print design on your nails.
- Finish with two coats of clear polish.
Bronze Tipped Nails
- Paint your thumb, ring and pinky fingers with two coats of a brown polish, such as Essie Armed & Ready.
- Paint two coats of a hot pink polish on your pointer and middle fingers, such as Essie Super Bossa Nova.
- After allowing nails to dry fully, paint on a bronze polish from the middle of each nail to the tip, making the edges uneven. (I used Sephora by OPI Chestnuts About You).
- Add a top coat and you're done!
Blue Ombre Nails
- Start with two coats of a neutral polish, such as Essie Topless and Barefoot.
- Allow the base color to dry completely.
- Select three different shades of blue polish. (I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, China Glaze Frostbite, and Chanel Blue Satin)
- Using the lightest shade of blue first, paint upward from about 2/3 up the length of your nail to the tip. Try to make the bottom as uneven as possible.
- Allow the first coat of blue to dry.
- Using the next to darkest shade of blue, begin painting fractionally higher than the first coat and paint to the tip of your nail.
- Using the darkest shade of blue, paint a thin coat over the tip of your nail.
- After drying, add a thin coat of clear polish for shine.
